  5. Do have whole wheat, whole grains, fruits, vegetables
  6. When you lose weight, give away your bigger clothes
  7. Don’t diet or starve.  The more you diet, the slower  your metabolism = more fat cells
  8. Instead, eat healthy as a lifestyle choice.  Don’ obsess about lbs.  Go by inches lost.  Muscle weighs more.
  9. If you are craving something sweet, have it, but a small piece, try dark chocolate for antioxidants.
  10. Don’t count calories, count carbs, 30 grams per day. don’t cut out fat or carbs completely

  12. Do aerobic and muscle exercises.   You need muscles to burn fat.
  13. Eat slowly, chew your food 10 times. Don’t gulp down your food
  14. It takes your body 20 minutes to tell your brain you are full, put the fork down between bites
  15. Don’t skip meals.  Eat 5 small meals and healthy snacks.
Water is good

It is important to drink at least 5 glasses of water a day


Don’t weigh yourself every day, Once a week is fine.


Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grain bread for fiber

Make sure you eat all food groups. Don’t stop eating carbs, eat healthy carbs
Don’t have refined white sugar or high fructose corn syrup



Meditate, Relax

Do yoga or some sort of relaxation, get plenty of sunlight. You need vitamin D from the Sun


Biking with a friend is great exercise, schedule exercise into your daily life,
Do exercise you enjoy, swimming, walking
